Connect CamClo to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps

Use CamClo from the AI app you already chat in: make photos, videos and ads, and check or change your campaigns, with every price shown before anything runs.

CamClo has a connector that lets the AI apps you already use work with your CamClo account. Add it once in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Cursor or another AI app, sign in, then ask in your own words for product photos, videos and ads, or for how your campaigns are doing. You choose what each app may do and how many credits it can spend in a day.

What it does

The connector is a remote MCP server (MCP is the open standard AI apps use to plug in other services). Once it is added, your AI app can use CamClo's tools for you, with your own account, credits, files and ad accounts:

  • Make: AI Suite tools such as Virtual Try-On, Product Photography, Model Swap, Smart Edit, background tools, upscaling, videos and subtitles.

  • Advertise: Ad Studio image and video ads, extra variations, versions for other languages, and Remix.

  • Run your ads: Ad Autopilot results, reports, tracking checks and leads and, only if you allow it, changes to your live Meta and Google campaigns.

Before you start

  • A CamClo account. Admin accounts can't connect apps, so sign in with your regular account.

  • An AI app that can add a custom connector with sign-in. Apps call it a custom connector, a custom app, a plugin or a remote MCP server. Some apps allow it only on certain plans or in certain countries (see Troubleshooting).

  • For anything to do with ads: Ad Autopilot turned on for your account, with your Meta or Google Ads account connected. See Connect your account.

Every app's menus are a little different. Follow your app's guide for the exact clicks: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity or Cursor. All of them are listed on Integrations.

This is the address you paste into your AI app:

https://api.camclo3d.com/mcp
Want a narrower connection?

Add https://api.camclo3d.com/mcp/studio for a connection that can only make images, videos and ads, or https://api.camclo3d.com/mcp/ads for one that only works with your ad campaigns. In Connected apps they show as Creation tools and Ad tools. The main address shows as All tools.

Connect in three steps

  1. 1

Add the address in your AI app

Open your AI app's connector settings, add a custom connector, name it CamClo and paste the address. Then choose to connect. The app opens CamClo's sign-in screen in your browser.

  2. 2

Sign in and choose what the app can do

Sign in to CamClo if you aren't already. The screen names the app, for example Claude wants to use your CamClo account. Under What it can do, tick the permissions you want. Under Limits for this app, pick a Workspace and a Daily credit limit, and decide whether to Share lead contact details. Choose Allow and you go straight back to your app.

  3. 3

    Ask in your own words

Start a chat and ask. In some apps you turn CamClo on for each chat first, and the app's guide shows where. Before anything that uses credits, the app tells you the price and waits for your yes.

Verified or not verified

The sign-in screen shows a Verified badge when your approval goes back to claude.ai, claude.com or chatgpt.com. Other apps, including tools that run on your own computer, show Not verified and name where your approval is sent. Only choose Allow if you trust that app.

Permissions and limits

These are the choices on the sign-in screen, under its two headings. Pick at least one permission.

What it can do

  • See your account (always included): your plan, credits, files and creations.

  • Create images, videos and ads (on to start): use AI Suite, Ad Studio and Remix. Each creation spends credits after you see the price.

  • See your ad campaigns and results (on to start): read Ad Autopilot campaigns, reports, tracking health and what the agent did.

  • Make changes to your live ads (marked Sensitive, off to start): change budgets, targeting, ads and agent settings, and launch campaigns. Every change is previewed first and your caps still apply.

Limits for this app

  • Workspace (your default workspace to start): products, ads and campaigns go here unless the app picks another of your workspaces. See Workspaces.

  • Daily credit limit (100 credits a day to start): pick 25, 50, 100, 250 or 500 credits a day, or No daily limit. It is the most credits this app can spend in a day (UTC), and it counts only what this connection spends.

  • Share lead contact details (off to start): names, emails and phone numbers from your lead forms. When it is off, the app sees lead counts only. It needs See your ad campaigns and results to be on.

You can change all of this later

Every choice here can be changed or removed any time in Profile > Connected apps. Changes apply on the app's next request.

What you can ask

Ask the way you would ask a colleague, and attach or link the photo when the task needs one. A few ideas for each area:

Make photos and videos

  • "Put this dress on a model on a city street at golden hour"

  • "Turn these product photos into clean white background shots"

  • "Keep the outfit in this photo but change the model"

  • "Make a short video of the model turning around"

  • "Add subtitles to this video"

Make ads

  • "Make three square image ads for my new sneakers"

  • "Make a video ad for this product from its product page"

  • "Make French and German versions of this image ad"

  • "Find a strong ad in my category and remix it for my product"

Run your ads (needs Ad Autopilot)

  • "How did my ads do this week, and which one should I pause?"

  • "Break down my results by age, country and placement"

  • "Is my tracking working?"

  • "Make a PDF report of last month for my client"

  • "Raise the budget on my best campaign by 20%" (needs Make changes to your live ads)

  • "Set up a new campaign for my summer collection" (it is published paused, or sent to CamClo for you to approve there)

Photos on your computer

Ask the app for an upload link. It gives you a CamClo page where you add photos or videos from your device, and they are saved to your CamClo account for the app to use. You can also paste a link to an image, or to an Instagram, TikTok or Facebook post.

Spending and safety

You approve every price

Before anything that uses credits, CamClo gives your AI app an exact quote. The app tells you what will be made and the price in credits, and it runs only after you say yes. Prices are the same credit prices as in CamClo. If you change a setting, the app gets a new quote and asks again.

  • Daily credit limit. Each connection has its own limit, which starts again at midnight UTC. A job that would go over it does not run.

  • No double charges. If the app retries after a network problem, the same quote never runs twice.

  • Failed work is refunded on its own. If only part of a job could be made, you get what was made and the rest is refunded.

  • Looking is free. Reading your account, files and results, uploading files and getting quotes use no credits.

  • Lead contact details stay private unless you turn on Share lead contact details for that connection.

Changes to live ads

Changing live ads needs the Make changes to your live ads permission, which starts off. Every change is shown to you first as a preview: what will change, before and after, any warnings, and any credits it uses (for example for new ad images). It applies only after you say yes. New campaigns are published paused, or sent to CamClo for you to approve there.

Your Ad Autopilot guardrails still apply to every change an AI app makes:

  • Your caps: minimum and maximum budget, daily spend cap and monthly cap. A change above a cap is refused.

  • Your Never touch list: protected ads and ad sets can't be changed.

  • The kill switch: while automation is paused, changes are blocked, except pausing ads to stop spend.

  • Budget jumps: one change can raise a daily budget only so far. Bigger jumps go through the CamClo app.

  • Risky changes, such as permanently deleting an ad or switching off Advantage+ settings, need your clear OK first.

What your AI app does with the answers it gets is covered by that app's own terms. Our privacy policy lists what a connected app can receive and what CamClo keeps.

Manage or disconnect

  1. 1

    Open Connected apps

Go to your Profile and find the Connected apps card. Each app shows when it was connected and last used, its tools (All tools, Creation tools or Ad tools), its permissions, the credits it spent today against its limit, its workspace and whether lead contacts are shared.

  2. 2

    Change what it can do

Choose Edit to change What it can do, the Daily credit limit, the Workspace or Share lead contact details, then choose Save. Changes apply on the app's next request.

  3. 3

    Disconnect it

Choose Disconnect and confirm. The app stops working with your CamClo account right away. To use it again, connect CamClo from the app.

Remove it in the app too

Disconnecting cuts the app off on CamClo's side. Also remove the CamClo connector in the AI app itself, so it stops offering CamClo in your chats.

Troubleshooting

My app has no option to add a custom connector

Some apps limit this by plan or country. In ChatGPT, CamClo can do everything on Business, Enterprise and Edu, and on Pro it can only read. Claude's free plan allows one custom connector. Gemini's custom apps need a personal Google account in the US, age 18 or over, with Gemini in English. Your app's guide on Integrations has the details.

The sign-in page says the request has expired

A connection request works once and lasts 30 minutes. Go back to your app and connect again.

It asks "Did you just try to connect" the app

The connection was started in another browser or on another device, for example when you opened a CamClo sign-in email on your phone. Choose Yes, I started this only if you did. If not, choose No, cancel it and nothing is connected.

It says admin accounts can't connect apps

Choose Use another account and sign in with your regular CamClo account.

The app says it isn't allowed to do that

That permission is off for this connection. In Profile > Connected apps, choose Edit, turn it on and Save. If it shows Not available on this connection, you added the creation-only or ads-only address: disconnect it and add https://api.camclo3d.com/mcp instead.

The app says the daily credit limit is reached

This connection has spent its limit for the day. Wait until midnight UTC, or raise the limit in Profile > Connected apps.

Not enough credits

A job you can't afford does not run. Buy more credits and ask again.

Ad questions say Ad Autopilot is not turned on

Ad tools need Ad Autopilot on your account and a connected Meta or Google Ads account. See What is Ad Autopilot.

A change to my ads was blocked

One of your guardrails stopped it, and CamClo tells the app which one. If you really want the change, adjust that guardrail in CamClo first, then ask again. See Guardrails & controls.

The app asks me to sign in to CamClo again

The connection ended: it was disconnected, or it went unused for a long time. Connect again from the app and choose your permissions and limit again.

The app doesn't use CamClo when I ask

Check that CamClo is turned on for that chat. In Claude, for example, it is in the + menu under Connectors. Naming CamClo in your request also helps.
