Table of Contents
The best AI ad generator for an ecommerce brand starts from your real product and hands back finished ads sized for each placement. CamClo AI is our top pick: it turns one product photo or product link into image ads, carousels and video ads with the ad copy written, then runs them on Meta and Google Ads with Ad Autopilot. AdCreative.ai suits high-volume static banners with creative scoring, Canva suits template ads you finish yourself, and Creatify, Predis.ai, AdStellar, Pencil and Zeely each mix image and video ads in their own way.
Paid plans on this list start at $14 a month, and every tool except Zeely lists a free plan or trial. If you only need video, our guide to the best AI video ad generators covers the video-first tools.
We checked every price and feature on the vendor's own site and saved screenshots, and our team tested Creatify and AdStellar hands-on in September 2026. Here is how we compared them.

What one image ad costs on each plan
A plan price says little until you know how many ads it buys. This is what each vendor publishes for one image ad on its entry plan.
| Tool | Entry plan | A month | One image ad costs | Image ads a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CamClo AI | Creator, $49 | 150 credits | 1 credit | 150 |
| AdCreative.ai | Starter, $39 | 10 credits | 1 credit per download; generating is unlimited | 10 downloads |
| Creatify | Starter, $39 | 100 credits | Not listed per ad; the free plan's 10 credits make up to 20 image ads | Up to 200 at that rate |
| Predis.ai | Core, $32 | 1,300 credits | 15 credits in its credit table; varies by model | About 86 at 15 credits; Predis's plan card estimates about 325 |
| AdStellar | Team, $100 | 50,000 credits | 100 credits | 500 |
| Pencil | Core, $14 | 50 generations | 1 generation, plus 1 for each extra size | Up to 50 |
| Zeely | Starter, $29.95 | 2,500 credits | Not on the pricing page | See vendor site |
| Canva | Pro, US$144 a year | A shared AI allowance | Not published | See vendor site |
Image ads a month is the monthly allowance divided by the cost of one image, before retries and edits. Chat can cost extra: when we tested Creatify on 11 September 2026, the chat that planned one image ad and its revision used 5.11 text credits on top of the image credits. AdStellar's docs list 100 credits per image; on 11 September its default model quoted 67.
The best AI ad generators, tool by tool
Each entry covers what the tool makes, its price, its strengths and limits, and when to pick it instead of CamClo AI.
1. CamClo AI
Best for: image, carousel and video ads from one product photo or link, run for youCamClo AI is an AI studio for ecommerce brands that makes ads from your real product and runs the campaigns too. Paste your product page link and it pulls the product image, name, description and selling points, or upload product photos yourself. Save your logo and brand colors once, or pull them from your website, then pick a campaign goal and a size, and it generates finished image ads with the platform copy written for each one.
- Image ads: five campaign goals (sales, traffic, lead generation, retargeting and catalog sales), each with its own visual approach. Make up to 8 variations in one batch, or a carousel of 3 to 5 slides that opens with a hook, gives each middle slide a different selling point and closes with a reason to act. On-image text and your logo are optional.
- Sizes: nine aspect ratios, including 1:1 and 4:5 for Instagram and Facebook feeds, 2:3 for Pinterest, and 1.9:1 and 16:9 for Google Display and LinkedIn.
- Ad copy: every variation comes with its own primary text, headline and call-to-action button, each taking a different angle, so a test compares messages as well as pictures.
- Editing: ask for a new headline, background or layout in plain words; each edit uses 1 credit.
- Video ads: 15 formats, from UGC and product demos to TV spots, sized for 10 placements including Reels, TikTok and Shorts, from 4 to 30 seconds.
- Remix Ads: search the public ad libraries of Meta, TikTok, Google or LinkedIn, or upload an ad you like, and CamClo AI makes a new ad for your product that follows its structure: 2 credits for an image ad, and video ads up to 90 seconds.
- Running the ads: Ad Autopilot, an AI media buyer for Meta and Google Ads, launches the ads, then raises budgets on winners in steps of 20% or less, pauses clear losers and makes fresh creative when an ad tires, inside the spend caps you set, with bigger moves waiting for your approval. It is priced in credits per managed campaign, not as a share of ad spend.
- Pricing: plans from $49 a month with 150 credits. An image ad costs 1 credit and an 8-second 720p video ad costs 11 on the default video model. There is a 7-day free trial with 20 credits.
Sample 4:5 image ads from the CamClo AI Image Ads page, one each for four of the five campaign goals.
Strengths
- Starts from your product photo or link, so the item in the ad is the one you sell
- Image ads, carousels and video ads from one product, sized for each placement
- Platform copy written with every variation
- Ad Autopilot launches and manages the ads on Meta and Google Ads
Limits
- Can seem a little expensive next to a single image tool, but the credits cover the ad copy, the sizing for each placement and video ads too, not just a raw image
See sample ads for every goal on the AI image ad generator page, or turn the same product into a video with the AI video ad maker.
2. AdCreative.ai
Best for: high-volume static banners with creative scoringAdCreative.ai generates ad creatives, ad texts, product photoshoots and product videos from your brand and product images. Its Creative Scoring AI rates a creative before you spend on it, Competitor Insight AI shows what competitors run, and you can generate as many creatives as you like, since a credit is used only when you download one.
- Pricing (monthly billing): Starter is $39 a month with 10 credits, one brand and one user. Professional is $249 a month with 50 credits, and Ultimate is $999 a month with 100 credits. Yearly billing is 50% off, which makes Starter $20 a month billed yearly.
- Plan limits: Creative Scoring AI, batch creatives, custom templates, product videos and ad videos start on Professional. Competitor insights are on every plan.
- Free: a 7-day free trial with 10 credits.
Strengths
- Unlimited generations, so you pay only for the creatives you keep
- Scoring and competitor insights next to creation
- Product photoshoots when you need new product images
Limits
- Starter's 10 credits mean 10 downloads a month
- Scoring, batch creatives and video need the $249 Professional plan
Pick this instead of CamClo AI if you produce static banners at volume for display and social, and want each one scored before it runs.

3. Canva
Best for: template ads you edit and publish yourselfCanva Grow is the AI ad generator inside Canva. You drop your website link and product visuals into a chat, it drafts ad concepts, and you edit them in the Canva editor with its templates, stock media and brand kit. Canva Grow publishes directly to Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn Ads, and to Google Ads and Amazon Ads through app integrations, with a dashboard that shows how the ads perform.
- Pricing (US page, yearly billing): Pro is US$144 a year for one person, and Business is US$250 a year per person. Both have a free trial.
- Free: Canva Free includes limited access to the AI ad generator; Canva says most Grow ad generation features need Pro, Business or Enterprise.
- Languages: Canva's Translate tool (Pro) translates ads into more than 100 languages, in bulk.
Strengths
- A full editor for last-mile changes
- Publishes to Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn from the same place
- Bulk translation for other markets
Limits
- Most Grow ad features need a paid plan
- You still design and check the final layout yourself
Pick this instead of CamClo AI if your team already designs in Canva and wants AI drafts plus publishing without adding a tool.
4. Creatify
Best for: AI actor video ads from a product link, plus image adsCreatify is an AI ad platform best known for turning a product URL into a video ad with an AI actor, and it makes image ads on the same credits. Every paid plan includes an ad launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, and the Pro plan adds Ad Clone (remake an ad from its URL), a competitor ad tracker covering 10M+ Meta ads and a performance agent.
- Pricing (monthly billing): Starter is $39 a month with 100 credits, 300 AI actors and one generation at a time. Pro is $99 a month with 300 credits and up to 5 generations in parallel. Creatify says annual billing saves up to 50%.
- Free: 10 credits a month, which Creatify says make up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, with a watermark on exports.
- Hands-on: when we tested Creatify on 11 September 2026, its Ad Flow canvas showed the plan and an estimated cost before running. One square image ad and a revision of its button text used 1.5 image credits, and the chat that planned them used another 5.11 text credits. Changing only the button text also redrew the type, the button and the layout, and trial images carried a watermark.
Strengths
- From product link to video ad with no script to write
- Image and video ads on one credit balance
- A free plan to test with
Limits
- Ad Clone and the competitor tracker need the $99 Pro plan
- Planning chats use credits on top of the images
Pick this instead of CamClo AI if you want AI actors presenting your product in video ads made from a product page link.

5. Predis.ai
Best for: social ads with scheduling and competitor trackingPredis.ai makes video ads, UGC ads and image ads from a product link, a text prompt or an image, and pairs them with a content calendar that publishes and schedules to your social channels. It tracks how each ad performed and shows the ads your competitors are running, with brand kits, client workspaces and approvals for teams.
- Pricing (monthly billing): Core is $32 a month with 1,300 credits, which Predis puts at about 325 images or 33 videos, for one brand with 60 competitor runs a month. Rise is $79 with 3,200 credits for up to 4 brands, and Enterprise+ is $249 with 10,000 credits. Yearly billing brings them to $24, $55 and $212 a month.
- Credits: Predis says each type of content and model has a different credit cost. Its credit table lists an ad creative at 15 credits per image and a standard or UGC video at 200 credits per 8 seconds. Auto posting starts on Rise.
- Free: every plan starts with 3 days free; Predis takes a card to start the trial and charges it when day 3 ends.
Strengths
- Many images for a low entry price
- Competitor tracking on every plan
- Ads and organic posts on one calendar
Limits
- Core covers one brand and has no auto posting
- Ads are exported for you to upload to your ad account; the calendar publishes social posts

6. AdStellar
Best for: Meta advertisers who want creative, insights and launching in one toolAdStellar is an AI platform for Meta advertising. It generates image ads, video ads and UGC avatar content, clones ads including competitors', syncs your results from Meta to show which creatives, audiences and copy work, and builds and bulk-launches campaigns. An AI agent handles the work in chat or in Slack.
- Pricing: one plan with every feature, from $100 a month for 50,000 credits ($2 per 1,000), with unlimited team members and ad accounts.
- Credit costs: 100 credits per image, from 2,800 credits for a video of up to 10 seconds, and 100 credits per AI campaign launch; manual campaign builds are free. Monthly credits expire 60 days after they are granted.

- Hands-on: when we tested AdStellar on 11 September 2026, one square image ad on the default model was quoted at 67 credits and was ready in under 90 seconds. A button-text edit cost 100 credits and changed nothing else we could see. The image also added the brand's logo, although our brief asked for no logo.
Strengths
- Creation, reporting and launching in one Meta workflow
- Unlimited seats and ad accounts on every tier
- In our test, a button-text edit left the rest of the image visibly unchanged
Limits
- Launching is built for Meta
- The entry plan is $100 a month, and monthly credits expire after 60 days
Pick this instead of CamClo AI if you advertise only on Meta and want one agent that makes, launches and reports from a chat or Slack thread.

Which tool for which kind of ad
Most ecommerce ads fall into a handful of types. Here is where each tool on this list fits.
- Feed image ads from a product photo. CamClo AI makes them from your photo or product link, with the copy written and the size set for the placement. AdCreative.ai fits when you want each banner scored.
- Carousels. CamClo AI builds a 3 to 5 slide story from your selling points, from hook to close. Predis.ai and Zeely also make carousels.
- Display banners in many sizes. AdCreative.ai and Pencil's Auto Resize. CamClo AI covers the 1.9:1, 16:9, 1:1, 5:4 and 4:3 Google Display sizes.
- Ads modelled on a proven winner. CamClo AI's Remix Ads, Creatify's Ad Clone on Pro, AdStellar's ad clone and Zeely's brand-inspired remix.
- Template ads and social posts. Canva, where you edit every element, and Predis.ai when you also schedule organic posts.
- Video and UGC ads. CamClo AI, Creatify, Predis.ai, AdStellar and Zeely on this list; video-first tools are in our video guide linked above.
To try the first two on your own product, start with the image ad maker and a single product photo.
How we compared them
We chose the tools from Google's US results and AI answers for "best ai ad generator", "ai ad generator" and "best ai ad creative generator", and from the roundups that rank or are cited for those searches, including two from Cometly, one from Designity and a list of AI Facebook ad generators from EComposer. We kept the tools that make image ads, or image and video ads, for ecommerce. Arcads, Higgsfield, Captions and InVideo also appear in Google's AI answers, but they are video-first, so they are in our video ad generator guide instead. Tools that only write ad text, and enterprise platforms without self-serve plans, were left out.
We then read each vendor's official pricing, product and help pages, saved screenshots, and recorded the entry paid plan, the free option, what one image ad costs and where each tool gets ads live. Where a vendor does not publish a number, we say so instead of guessing. Our team also used Creatify and AdStellar hands-on on 11 September 2026, and those notes carry that date. We did not run a scored benchmark, so there are no quality scores on this page; test your own product before you commit.
How to choose an AI ad generator
- Start from your real product. Tools that take your product photo or product page keep the item in the ad the one you ship. Check labels, prints and colors in every image before it runs.
- Price a finished ad, not the plan. An image ad is 1 credit on CamClo AI, one download on AdCreative.ai and 100 credits on AdStellar, and planning chats can add to the bill.
- Match the sizes to your placements. Feeds take 4:5 or 1:1, Pinterest takes 2:3 and Display takes 1.91:1. Our Meta ads specs guide lists every Facebook and Instagram size.
- Test angles, not only colors. Variations that lead with different ideas, such as a benefit, a use or social proof, give the platform different messages to learn from.
- Decide who gets the ads live. Some tools stop at the file. Canva, Creatify, AdStellar, Pencil and Zeely publish, and CamClo AI's Ad Autopilot also manages budgets and refreshes creative after launch.
- Check the rules. Read each tool's terms on commercial use, and each ad platform's policy on AI content.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI ad generator?
For ecommerce brands, CamClo AI: it turns a product photo or product link into image ads, carousels and video ads sized for each placement, writes the ad copy, and can run the campaigns on Meta and Google Ads with Ad Autopilot. AdCreative.ai is the pick for high-volume static banners with creative scoring, Canva for template ads you finish yourself, Creatify for AI actor videos from a product link, and AdStellar for Meta advertisers who want creation and launching in one tool.
Which AI ad generator is best for Facebook ads?
Pick one that sizes ads for Facebook and Instagram placements, writes the primary text, headline and button, and can get the ads into Meta. CamClo AI does all three: image ads for the feeds, video ads for Reels and Stories, and Ad Autopilot to launch and manage the campaign. Canva Grow, Creatify, AdStellar, Pencil and Zeely can also publish to Meta. Use 4:5 or 1:1 for feed images and 9:16 for Reels and Stories.
Is there a free AI ad generator?
Several tools have a free way in. CamClo AI has a 7-day free trial with 20 credits. That is enough for up to 20 image ads, and trial images carry a watermark that a paid plan removes. Canva Free includes limited AI ad generation, Creatify's free plan gives 10 credits a month for up to 20 watermarked image ads, Pencil lets you make six ads in a guided trial, AdCreative.ai has a 7-day trial with 10 credits, AdStellar's 7-day trial includes $100 in credits, and Predis.ai starts every plan with 3 free days. Zeely lists no free plan.
How much does an AI ad generator cost?
Entry paid plans are $14 a month for Pencil Core, $29.95 for Zeely Starter, $32 for Predis.ai Core, $39 for AdCreative.ai Starter and Creatify Starter, $49 for CamClo AI and $100 for AdStellar, and Canva Pro is US$144 a year. Compare what each plan buys: CamClo AI's 150 monthly credits cover 150 image ads at 1 credit each, while AdCreative.ai's Starter includes 10 downloads a month.
Which AI ad generator offers the best competitor analysis?
It depends on what you want from it. AdCreative.ai includes competitor insights on every plan, Predis.ai includes 60 competitor runs a month on Core, and Creatify's Pro plan tracks up to 10 brands in its competitor ad tracker. For turning a competitor's idea into your own ad, CamClo AI's Remix Ads lets you search the public ad libraries of Meta, TikTok, Google or LinkedIn, pick a proven ad, and get a new ad for your product that follows its structure.
Can ChatGPT generate ads?
A general AI assistant can draft ad copy and, with image generation, make a single picture from a prompt. An AI ad generator adds what an ad needs around that: your real product photo, your brand kit, sizes for each placement, platform copy, several variations to test and, in some tools, publishing. Whatever you use, check that the product, price and claims in the ad match what you actually sell.
